E-Business Owner - Crystal

Attending the Fall 2010 SBI conference in Chicago made an enormous impact on me as well as my site. It definitely was fun, it was memorable, and it has helped me triple the income from my site in just over one month.

Most importantly attending this conference helped me establish relationships with other e-business owners (I learned that is what we are!), that has grown even after coming home. I have a strong network with others that understand what I do, and to this day we continue to help each other with simple questions and large projects.

I learned so much that my head was spinning when I returned home. Before conference I had a tendency to lurk and check. I spent more time reading than doing and more time checking than building. I developed such a specific to-do list during the conference that I now not only know what I need to do, but know how to do it.

During my first week home I made some significant changes to how I build pages, how I use Adsense, and how I place affiliate links. I’m still working on my to-do list but have already seen significant increases in both my traffic and my income.



What I learned isn’t a secret; it’s in the SBI! Action Guide. However hearing from, and meeting people that stay faithful to building keyword focused pages, that creatively use C2, that embrace social media has energized me to do the same. Could I have learned all this information and become energized without attending a conference? I suppose it’s possible, but it would have taken me years, instead of a weekend and I wouldn’t have made such terrific friends and e-business partners in the process.

Looking forward to seeing my old friends and making new friends at future conferences.
