SBI! in Edinburgh. What a joy!

I got back from the SBI! Edinburgh conference three days ago, and my mind is buzzing - so much to do, so little time ...

For me, the conference truly over-delivered - when I booked, I wasn't at all sure what to expect (and, if I'm honest, I was a little bit scared that I might be disappointed).

How wrong I was!

From the very first evening, when I immediately felt at home with people who totally 'got it', the conference was perfect. Motivating, educational, inspirational, fun, and with fabulous networking opportunities too.

The excellent presenters in turn validated what I already felt I knew, taught me so many new things, and stretched my understanding to a higher level. I learned such a lot that little things keep popping into my mind - I'm keeping a pen and paper with me so that I can catch them all.

I came away with a much clearer idea of where I want to go with SBI! and my e-business, and already I feel that I have a more professional attitude and approach.

Such high energy was generated by having forty or so dedicated SBIers in one place - I think all the attendees felt this and it was very, very special.

Huge thanks are due to the organisers (May, Cath, Hilary, Jennifer and Ellen) for the great programme of speakers, for the hugely entertaining night out in Edinburgh (being out-danced by Italians who learned Scottish dancing in Athens must be one of my highlights!) and for coming up with a hotel that even had a swimming pool and easy airport access.

Magical.

For anyone out there reading this, and wondering if attending an SBI! conference is the right thing for you ... well, my advice is, just do it!

I'm certain you won't regret it.
