I completed the Action Guide in May 09 and began really building my content in August. I have enjoyed this.

Lacking computer tech skills, (I rank at about an 11 on a scale of 1 to 500) I had great doubts about building a good site. No, I haven't mastered "how to do it." But I gained more confidence while attending the Cincinnati SBI Conference.

I met some truly good folks and was struck by the sincere sharing that existed. One local SBIer has even offered to work with me to upgrade my SBI skills. How fortunate for me!

I strictly use the block building system but have no clue how, for instance, to put internal links on my home page, the use of color to enhance my site's look and how to place a photo appropriately.

I do find "Search IT" to be invaluable.

I now have approx. 50 pages with another 63 keywords on the drawing board, so I feel fairly comfortable about my content ability.

My site promotes SBI and the three ways to build a business website but have not had a sale, as yet. I presently am on a great journey as I explore secondary affiliate options within my site.

I have chosen to do this now rather than just building more pages, I guess for a couple of reasons. First, to take the time to learn a little about how to do this (I'm re-reading lots), and secondly, to refresh my spirit to see if I can generate some income, as small as it might be.
I don't know if this is the "right" way or not?

Anyway, thanks to those wonderful folks that I met at the Cincinnati Conference, I am committed to plowing ahead. I will make this work!
